More success for Iran film ‘Wander about Me’ on fest circuit

Notable Iran film ‘Wander about Me’ gains new success on the international festival circuit, grabbing  awards in South Film and Arts Academy Fest, Chile.

At the recently held closing of South Film and Arts Academy Festival, Ghazaleh Soltani’s film was praised for her actor Mehraveh Sharifinia’s appearance as the female lead, a local media report said.

The flick also gained best costume awards presented to Farahnaz Naderi.

Mehraveh Sharifinia, the star of 'Wander about Me' was already chosen as best actress at the 8th Bridges International Film Festival in Greece.

Sharifinia portrays a woman from the capital city of Tehran who chooses to follow her dreams on the verge of turning 30.

SFAAF is the film festival that combines a monthly presentation and an annual party, as well as being an online viewing site. The event is a festival of the arts, which includes cinema, music video, web series, theater, music, advertising, photography, among others.
